And somewhere I remembered reading that this chip has been used to control 1W 350ma high power LEDs
I think what they were doing was connecting each LED up to 3 outputs of this driver.
Would this work??
Can someone help me out with the possibility of doing this?
Also, Would I be better off using the above chip
or this board:

I don't think I would need the regulator on the board if I used just the chip as I will already be using regulated 5V power supply
And I can add the capacitors easily enough
Will I have a problem with heat using either of these methods?
If I understand this correctly All I need external hardware besides my LEDs are a 0.1uF Capacitor and my Iref resistor.
If I set my Iref with a 360 ohm resistor that will give me an output of 108.5mA output per pin
my leds are 300-350mA LEDs so if I use 3 pins per LED that is 325.5mA which should be sufficient.
Also if doing this, when dimming should all 3 outputs per LED me in sync or would I be better off using them as staged dimmers?
Also, a curiosity question if any cares to answer, what would someone recommend as the maximum wire length between the Arduino control board and the TLC IC?
If possible I would like to be able to locate these "dimmer" modules in different locations and the closest to the Arduino would be greater than 9 feet (3 meters)
