If you are thinking of actually making a laser, don't. Cheap, easy to hack laser pens can be fond on eBay for a few pounds each. Homemade laseres cost many times this amount and often emit or if radiation, making them more dangerous as you can't see the beam before it blinds you. Do yourself a favour and log onto eBay.
