Hi,
I'd like to create a door lock using an electic strike place and have it activated by RFID or Pin. The reason being that I don't want my kids to loose RFID tags and have to cancel them all the time so, they can use a pin.
I'm having trouble finding a combined RFID/KeyPad unit that is suitable. I just want something that passes the info onto the Arduino so that I can manage it but the combined units I've seen so far use a Weigand format or protocol that I know nothing about.
Has anyone else done anything similar that can recommend a device? I really don't want to have to separate the RFID and keypad.
