I normally create a blog post for that.

You can describe the purpose of your code in non-technical language,

    explain your main design desicions,

highlight some of the more interesting parts,

and use the ">>" button on top of the editor to

// pretty print the code you paste in the blog.

    Hi There

You have already been doing a grand job of describing the program while I was helping you get it all working, you just need to keep doing the same but using a blog post instead, everything else is the same for formatting etc

    Regards

    Peter

    A good blog post will...

A description of what the intended project is about, what are the objectives, challanges, is it for school, fun, or something else

include pictures (Even if there from a cell phone), anything is better than nothing but try to get it well illuminated if you can

Share the code and any issues you encountered along the way (Like the way you have over the last few days would be perfect)

a schematic diagram, you can hand draw if needed and take a picture but there is a program called fritzing which can help, or use eagle, Visio, or any other drawing program you have access to and or know how to use

above all dont be embarised about what your sharing, we have all been beginners at somepoint (And we all still have much more to learn) and from my experiance, on this forum it is a safe and friendly place to share stuff no matter how trivial you may think it is

If your up for it then you can also include a video of the project, it would be your choice if you have yourself in it, I know I was very hessitent when I first started out doing videos but you get used to it and again, no one will make fun of you (At least not till your a top member and even then its in the privacy of our own TM community image ) I now have a sucessful YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/thebreadboardca )and dozens of videos on E14 and im still a little shy on camera and tend to ramble on a bit... well alot image  but thats part of the fun

If you dont enjoy it then why do it i say.

    Hope this helps

    peter
