MicroSD Module for Arduino

ritamüller
ritamüller over 10 years ago

Hello,

I have RFID 13.56 MHz / NFC Module for Arduino from Cooking Hacks (Cooking Hacks - RFID 13.56 MHz / NFC Module for Arduino). I want to read a card and copy it to another card ,but Arduino cannot store more than 1 k byte in the EEPROM so it can't read all the blocks and store the information in the memory.

Can i with my module MicroSD integrate and save the Information of RFID in SD and then copy it von SD to another card ?image

Thx

Rita

    Not quite correct.

Each location can hold a byte value (0-255).

    There are 512 locations

It's great you have the interest in Arduino, however rather than waiting for one of us to check and reply, you might be better using Google to search for the answer.

I've recommended this free download before.

    http://it-ebooks.info/book/1982/

It's written from the point that "I have this problem ...how do I solve it" which suits those that aren;t aware of some of the Arduino capabilities.

You could look for external memory which is accessible via the I2C.

I'm not sure why you want the Arduino to hold the data. You could simply connect it via a computer and read, then program.

Many smartphone apps allow this as well.

Thanks Mark for your reply .

actually I work in a project about RFID/NFC applications and I have "RFID13.56Mhz/ NFC for Arduino" from cooking hacks. I need to show which applications are possible  with this module and what is not possible and why .

that is the reason why I wanted to know whether cards copying with this model possible is or not.

Please Rita, place "useful answer" or "correct answer" on the ones where you say thanks for the support, so other knows that this question has a good answer while searching,

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your honest response.

I not trying to be rude, but you've asked this forum a lot of questions about your project.

The members have provided answers, which in a lot of cases could have been found using Google, or referencing other material that was on the internet.

College (and these assignments) is about teaching you how to use your skills, and whatever resources you have, to achieve something.

You shouldn't be relying on someone else providing the answers, since it will not help you in the real world.

I don't do other peoples homework/assignments so I won't be freely providing answers from now ....

Good luck with your assignment, you seem to have the skills to succeed, just have confidence in your abilities.
