BLE Multi-Connect

santhoshi2904

I am trying to connect three BLE servers to ESP32 and I want to connect one server first, read values from that server and disconnect that server and then connect the next server and read values and disconnect. I can connect first one and read values and disconnect the first one and scan for other devices. After that I'm unable to connect to second server.

Hi, This question gets asked frequently. Is it a college project or something? It was discussed here just a few months ago, so the same comments apply: Stop connection between BLE Client and Server…

I think it will be better to test all the servers separately first. Here is a easy method of testing BLE servers: https://www.theengineeringprojects.com/2021/11/esp32-ble-bluetooth-low-energy.html

The problem can be related to the Bluetooth stack on the ESP32. Some Bluetooth stacks may not support connecting to multiple devices sequentially in rapid succession.

One potential solution is to use an asynchronous programming model, such as callbacks or events, to handle the connection and disconnection of each BLE server. This could help to avoid blocking issues that might be occurring when trying to connect to multiple servers sequentially.

Additionally, it's important to ensure that the BLE servers are not actively advertising while you're attempting to connect to them, as this can cause connection issues. You can use a BLE scanner to check for advertising devices before attempting to connect to them.

Another possible issue could be related to the stability of the BLE connection. You may want to make sure that the BLE servers have stable connections and are not dropping the connection unexpectedly.

Finally, it may be helpful to look at the logs or error messages generated by the ESP32 to see if there are any clues about why the second server is not connecting. This can help to pinpoint any specific issues that need to be addressed.
