circuit connexion of potentiometer and external speaker

hi please i want to change the sound volume using potentiometer and a speaker with arduino.can you help me to do the connection circuit .thx in advance

Hi, There's just two or three wires on the potentiometer. I strongly suggest you just wire it up (in any way you think fit, you can google this), and see what happens. You'll learn more from that experience…

In the end it turned out that it was software task - potentiometer was supposed to drive software based volume control, which the author finally achieved...

You can make an audio amplifier with LM386. If you see the datasheet, you will find designs of Amplifiers with different gains. every design includes a potentiometer. You will be able to control volume with that. You can interface the amplifier with Arduino if needed.

bidrohini, JWx There are many ways to skin a cat. bidrohini that's the long way around. and JWx that's right but you take a chance of messing up your PCB. I give the odds of failure of less than 50%, especially if they really don't know what there dining with a soldering iron. Just buy a CHEAP L-PAD and get it over.
