Arduino based machine that turns itself off

I had a lot of fun learning low power techniques and interrupt service routines on Arduino with this fun project. The box contains 2 servos, one to operate the lid and the other for the lever to turn the switch off. It doesn't actually switch itself of, it just goes to sleep until the next curious user switches it on!Full build details and code here:

    Cool - does it intentionally vary the sequence and timing of the shutdown?

    Yes the speed and delay of the lid and arm servos can be varied independently - each lid open / switch off / lid close action is coded as a sequence - there are about 10 different sequences in a loop or you can run them randomly. Once the switch is switched off by the arm, the microcontroller goes back to sleep until it is switched back on again when an ISR wakes up the processor and activates the next servo sequence. A MOSFET isolates power to the servos before the processor goes back to sleep. The box should remain active for several months on one set of batteries, depending on the number of activations.
