need help making a wireless sega genesis/megadrive controller

I have built some for other systems by following and using files from this forum http://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php?topic=4393.0  , however I am not sure of how exactly to go about making one for the genesis. The original creator never made one and moved on to a new version of his wireless controllers so I am not sure if the ic's I have will be able to do it or not. I have attiny2313's and atmega8's for the microcontrollers and NRF24L01+ modules for the transceivers which is what was used in the other retro controller conversions. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

    Hello Brent,

As far as I read in the forum notes you linked what this guy has done is using several channels of the transceiver replacing the cable with a bunch of signals with the multi channel transceiver. I don't see a very big difficult to make something like this project with the components you suggests. The NRF240 is a Nordic device that works at the same frequency with several available channels. My question is if you worked with the circuits and schematics from the version you mention, or if you have just used the finished components. If you have a staring schematics maybe a good isea to share it here and give us more details to be more helpful.
