need help making a wireless sega genesis/megadrive controller

I have built some for other systems by following and using files from this forum http://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php?topic=4393.0  , however I am not sure of how exactly to go about making one for the genesis. The original creator never made one and moved on to a new version of his wireless controllers so I am not sure if the ic's I have will be able to do it or not. I have attiny2313's and atmega8's for the microcontrollers and NRF24L01+ modules for the transceivers which is what was used in the other retro controller conversions. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

  • I just used the finished components from the rar file on the forum to flash the micro controllers then followed the schematics for the controllers i wanted. How I understood that he was doing it was having the controller send the signals to the receiver and the receivers micro controller was reproducing the signals that the chip in the controller makes for button presses. I essentially need a hex file for the micro controllers for the tx and rx for the genesis that would make it work with the components I have.
