Which Arduino do you Own ?

There're now many different Arduinos on the market and soon there will be more!

So which one do you currently have?

Or more importantly, which one do you mainly use ? I kinda have more than one Arduino...

I'm going to suspect that a lot of people have an Uno...

I have a wider variety than you are showing, and a couple of those I didn't bother with. I can't vote for a single Arduino board. It depends on the final use, as to which board is used, and whether I need…

I have mega 2560, its beautiful, compatible with lots of shield and you can always have space to insert another group of components. I/O are never enough!!

I don't think it really matters that they are slightly different. As a matter of a fact I think if I had the option I would just choose the cheaper one. What more reasons do you like the arduino mega adk.

The Arduino Mega ADK is like the Arduino Duo (the Arduino Duo runs on 3.3 v).

The Arduino Mega 2560 is like a big Arduino Uno.

Arduino Mega ADK seems better then the Arduino Duo. Duo to the fact that the Arduino Duo runs on 3.3 v.

    What is your opinion?

    Dear: Tim

What is the difference between arduino due and arduino mega. I thought they were one of the same thing.

    Dear: Tim

You should know I own arduino due R3. Although I never used it, it is probably somewhere in my basement. Do you own it if you do what is your experience?

Have you seen the Arduino due?

It has all the features of the Arduino mega and the Arduino Leonardo!

There are some faster versions here in element14 at good prices.

    image

runs at 80MHz, uses a modified version of the Arduino IDE.

If I had to pick which I used most often upto 6 months ago it would be UNO or clones of the UNO, but for the last 6 months I've been exclusively using TI Launchpads for reviews and other projects, I have now dived in to Raspberry PI and add on boards for the same reason so I honestly don't have a favourite, I use what I need to at the time and what ever takes my fancy the day I need an MCU, between the Atmel and TI MPU's there so similar in most ways, its just a preference at the time, kinda like picking what colour shirt to wear on a Saturday ?. If I need advanced features then I look at the capabilities and go from there, I have no bias.

    Hope that helps

Oh, a lot of my projects I do are for tutorials to demonstrate electronics principals or ideas too so again, it depends on what im going to do with it.

    Peter

    Dear: Peter

First of all I do own atmega 2560. Also I don't use it that much because it has way too many pins for the simple projects I do but I do think I will be using it soon so thank you!!!

P.S. Also what board did you vote for and why?
