audio in FMC-PYTHON1300c + Zedboard

Hi, I have run the FMCHC_PYTHON1300C_Tutorial_2016_4 successfully, it outputs video to the monitor, but the there is no audio output (the monitor does have a built-in audio). Any help will be appreciated, thank you!

FMCHC_PYTHON1300C contains an adv7611 and an adv7511, and the audio signal is connected through a spdif in the rtl design like below.

Hi there,

This is not something that we have designed in, nor tested. The Avnet HDMI blocks are HDMI video only.
You would need to take a look at the Xilinx IP blocks, but there is likely a problem with that as the ADV parts are PHYS and the Xilinx blocks are also PHY.

Hi there,

I was thinking on this, you could head over to the ADI forums and ask over there. From what I understand, they had an Audio design working with their parts, but again, this is not something that I have any further information on nor support.
