Can't see the log when turning the Zedboard on

Hello,

I'm using a SDcard with linux installed.

When I turn on the Zedboard and get connected with
the Tera Term, I don't see any prints on the screen regarding the initialization of the Linux.

The blue led is on and I can write commands
but still, doesn't see the initialization comments.

Can someone please advise?

You need to enable persist mode in the Cypress USB to UART driver so that it will be running when the Linux boot is taking place. You may need to update the driver. Take a look at the latest Cypress USB to UART Setup Guide here: http://www.zedboard.org/documentation/1521

1. you are booting ZED in SD card boot mode
2. USB_UART is working fine..check that your uart connection is fine

The driver was up to date, but the 'persist mode' was off.
