mpu6050(i2c based)

Hi friends,

                 i want to establish i2c communication between zedboard(ps section) and mpu6050 sensor(accelero+gyro).

In the SDK , i'm opening iic examples. But i can open iicps examples only. Can anyone tell me , how to open iic examples instead of iicps examples ?

These examples(iicps) can help me address external devices...

In the drivers folder of sdk, we have examples for iic and iicps.

Thanks in advance...

    Hi 473srikanth,

If you open the folder "C:XilinxSDK2016.2dataembeddedswXilinxProcessorIPLibdriversiic_v3_2examples" in Windows Explorer you will find a bunch of example .c files.

Each one of those files is an example application for the IIC IP since they each contain their own main() function.  To use one of those examples, I would create a new blank application (and BSP) in SDK then drag the source file for the example you want into the "src" folder of your new blank SDK application.

    Regards,

    -Kevin

Thanks a lot for the reply sir.

I did the same thing in Linux(ubuntu). But the header files are not resolved(showing errors in #include line).

And each header file is internally including other header files.

Help me in resolving the headerfiles....

    Hi 473srikanth,

Please help me try to understand a little better what it is you are trying to do.

You have Xilinx SDK installed under Ubuntu Linux and you are having problems creating a new blank application and adding the example code to the src/ folder of the new project?

What are the error messages that you are seeing?  Which header files are not being resolved.

    Regards,

    -Kevin

    Hello Gayathrivlsi,

Include the iic while configuring the zync processor and then generate the bit file and then export the hardware to SDK. After that,  You can use  xiicps.h header in the SDK programming.
