We got the ZedBoard board recently and discovered that when we power-cycle or hard-reboot directly the board, the Linux host connected through serial to the board panics and freezes completely, forcing us to reboot the machine.

I believe this could be a driver problem, so we will try to have Ubuntu as a host system, but wanted to share this in case anybody show it too.
