License for Vivado  + PicoZed

I'm considering buying a PizoZed and I'm going to use Vivado in Linux platform. I read that with the picoZed I've got a license of Vivado, obviously to work only with the picoZed, but:
 
How does  this license work?
Is it join to the PC or to the picoZed?
 
I'm worried about this issue because I'm considering to change my PC in a few months, so If I purchase the picoZed now and I join the license in my current PC, then when I buy the new PC:
 
Will it work the license of Vivado in the new PC?

    Hello Oscargomezf,

    If you plan on just purchasing a PicoZed Som you will not recieve a Vivado License. On the other hand, if you plan on purchasing a Application Specific Kit it may include a voucher for Vivado Design Edition. For instance the PicoZed Smart Vision Kit, which includes a PicoZed 7015 and a voucher for a 7015-device locked Vivado Design Edition (pluse the remainder vison components). A device locked license means it will only work for that specific Zynq Device, in this case a Zynq 7z015.

    If you do end up getting a deviced locked Vivado Design Editon voucher you can transfer it to a different computer. Please refer to the link below

    If you do not plan on buying an Application Specific Kit, Xilinx also offers a free WebPack Vivado version you should take a look at. For more information on licenses please refer to the post below.

    Hi JFoster,

    First of all, I can't access to both links. It seems to be they are broken.

    I have two questions more:

    1º.- We are planning to work with a Zynq 7030, so I have to buy this picoZed model: AES-Z7PZ-7Z030-SOM-G and we are going to need this carrier board AES-PZCC-FMC-V2-G (FMC V2). Is this kit enough to get a device locked Vivado Design Editon voucher?

    2º.- I saw that the speed grade of the Zynq AES-Z7PZ-7Z030-SOM-G is (-1).  Is there any way to get picoZED with a Zynq 7030 with a speed grade of -2 or -3? We are planning to build a product with the picoZed, but probably we are going to need a high-speed grade.

    Hello Oscargomezf,

    Sorry about that, I have fixed the links above. Now for your questions.

    1. A device locked Vivado Design Edition voucher will not come with either of those products you are looking at. Is there any specific reason you need the Design Edition? The webpack Vivado version does nearly the same thing.

    2. If you absolutely need a PicoZed 7030 with a speed grade of -2 or -3 we may be able to help you. It would need to be a custom build since we typically do not offer such product. If you would like to go down this avenue you would need to contact your local FAE (Field Application Engineer). If you do not know your local FAE, please private message me and I can help you figure this out.
