What do you mean when you say

"The UltraZed-EV is not meant for standalone operation."

What is required to run UltraZed-EV ?

Hi Josiane,
When we say not meant for standalone operation, we are refering to the UltraZed EV SOM requiring a Carrier Card to operate.
The UltraZed EV SOM http://zedboard.org/product/ultrazed-ev will require some sort of carrier card to operate. Whether you purchase one from us such as the UltraZed EV Carrier Card http://zedboard.org/product/ultrazed-ev-carrier-card or you design your own.
Does this clarify things for you?
If you purchase the UltraZed EV Starter Kit, you will recieve both the carrier card and som http://zedboard.org/product/ultrazed-ev-starter-kit
