ok...
micro zed up and running...all is well.
from reading docs I see that running with no OS you have to use FreeRTOS to get the tcpip stack functions to work...creating a FSBL (boot loader at strt up to configure the interrupts/registerse/etc.
Downloaded the FreeRTOS from the described web page..
On the info it says it was created for a 7020 Zync..
followed directions...says to run XMD shell and enter commands...
basically I was getting now where..
Q: I'd hate to recreate the wheel but if I have to Iwill...
is there info somewhere that will allowme to get this microzed up and running with NO OS...bare metal (I don't need Linux/etc)...for the microzed....?

by the by...gigabit etherent running out of box on microzed.(prior question I asked)...it was a USER ERROR
