Getting Started

Hi 

I have followed the beginning instructions from Getting Started, but can't proceed in SWITCHES/LEDS section, where I write read_sw as mentioned but get: ~/bin/ash:read_sw: not found

I have even tried  this: write_led 0xFF but got the same resolute, does anyone know what is wrong ?
