The ZedBoard is a developers board that has a Dual ARMu00AE Cortexu2122-A9 MPCoreu2122 processor (part of the Zynq-7000 XC7Z020 CLG484 -1). So it should be possible to run Android on this device. Unfortunatly nobody I find so far, tried to run Android on the ZedBoard. I want to try and be able to run Android on the ZedBoard but I donu2019t have any experience with porting Android, so if anyone has some information for me, itu2019s most welcome!
I did find that Iveia has been able to run Android 2.3 on a Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC ZC702 Evaluation Kit, which features the same SoC. So Iu2019m guessing it wonu2019t take much effort to be able to run Android on the ZedBoard, but as I said, Iu2019m not sure about that. So if thereu2019s anyone who can give some information, please comment in the section below.
