Dear Sir:
I purchased a brand new Xilinx development board, Zynq-7000 EPP 7Z020 Zedboard kit that uses - ISE Design Suite: Design Edition Device Locked Edition Node Locked software (ISE). I believe that I downloaded the appropriate speedway tutorial for my software package (Vivado 2013). There does exist a slight difference with respect to the 2013 software packages. Take notice that 2 different 2013 software versions exist, Vivado 2013.3 and Vivado 2013.4; 2013.3 was the only downloadable software package available for download, however, I am using Vivado 2013.4).
I started Speedway Lab 11 (a copy of Lab 11 will be attached in the following post for your convenience) which utilizes flash memory. To use the Xilinx In-system and Serial Flash Library, specific "standalone BSP" settings must be set. The lab BSP settings are not available for my software package version.
See steps 10 through 12 of Lab 11, the "standalone BSP" configuration settings reference OS version 3.11A and makes reference to Spansion QSPI flash (referenced to xilisf library version 3.02.z). I do not have this option. My OS version is 3.12.a and my xilisf library is 3.02.a. My available memory choices will be listed in a following post as a "snapshot" and other "snapshots" will be uploaded for your convenience. This forum website does not permit the user to attach documents with the "initial" (first) posting.
Note: I did not purchase an external Flash memory card to go along with my Zedboard kit.
My question is:
With my existing hardware and software configuration, does a "workaround" exist such that I can get lab 11 working as set forth in the instructions in Lab 11?
If the answer to this question is no, does another solution exist such as a different download version of the same tutorials, or the purchase an external flash memory card and an accompanying software installation, etc.?
