I've just received my ZedBoard, and have followed the 'getting started' instructions.
The Cypress USB-to-UART driver installed correctly, but most of the time I do not get an enumerated COM port. Very occasionally, after multiple power cycles, I can eventually get it to enumerate and give me COM4, after which I can successfully use Tera Term to talk to the board.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem is here? I can only imagine that this is a faulty board. I've tried on two different PCs, and have the same behaviour.
The board always appears to boot, and I get the 'Digilent' logo appearing on the LCD display, but most of the time the USB UART does not enumerate and give me a COM port.
