Aptina Camera

Is there a RGB color sensor that is available that would work with the Smart Vision Development Kit? I did not realize that the Aptina camera module provided with the kit was monochrome?

The SVDK is targeted at machine vision applications, which typically use monochrome image sensors.
The PYTHON-1300-C camera module and Toshiba TCM3232PB camera module, supported by the MicroZed Embedded Vision Kit, are hardware compatible with the SVDK. However, there are no SVDK reference designs are available for these color camera modules.
To my knowledge, we have one customer that was able to port the PYTHON-1300-C design to the SVDK:
