Baseboard for Zynq MMP

Hi Everyone,

I'm interested to find a baseboard for MMP module (or actually any SoM with 7Z100 chip in it). Currently as I see there are only a few motherboards exist on the market supporting this chip: MMP Baseboard 2, Zynq Mini-ITX, HTG-Z7-PCIE (this one has QSFP connectors, but we would need FMC ones).

So I've got a few questions here:
1) Am I missing some other boards supporting 7Z100 chip?
2) is it possible to obtain layout files say for MMP Baseboard 2, may be we could redesign it to get rid of power module slot, as we wuldn't need it.

Hello Maxim,

I am not aware of any other 7Z100 based boards but there may be others.

As you noted the Zynq Mini-ITX and the Zynq MMP + MMP Baseboard 2 do have FMC connectors and support the 7Z100. You can request the design files for the MMP Baseboard 2 from your local Avnet or Silica FAE if the business case makes sense.

The other option is to request a customized version of the MMP Baseboard 2. You can send this request to customize@avnet.com for a quote.
