Documentation feedback

Hi,
I may have found a couple of typos in the documentation.

1) Zedboard Quick Start:  "fttpd FTP server", I'm not sure if it's an fttpd server, perhaps it should be ftpd, or tftpd?

2)  Zedboard Getting Started Guide, version 2.0, page 16, step 5.  "The state of the LEDs can be modified again by running the read_sw script with another output value".  "read_sw" should be replaced with "write_led".

3) Getting Started Guide, version 2.0, Figure 1, page 10 is confusing:  Block Diagram shows PS and PL sides but does not define PS or PL.  Later on page 14 Figure 6 shows Processing System (PS) and Programmable Logic (PL).  Perhaps Figure 1 should define PS and PL.

    A few more items.
    4) Page 21, step 2.  Inconsistent use of "an" and "a" before HDMI.

    5) Page 23, "fttpd", is this right or should it be ftpd or tftpd?

    6) Page 25, step 4,  "To vied the ZedBoard", typo, change "vied" to "view".

    7)  Page 29, Figure 23, the "mount /dev/sda1 /mnt" command is not shown at a "zynq>" user prompt.

Wow, thanks piller for taking such a close look at this document.  Your comments are very much appreciated.

Wasn't sure what to do about #7 though since when the USB drive is inserted, the kernel messages bump the prompt off the screen.  If you were confused by it, then others might also be so I updated the figure as you suggested.

Let me get these into a document update, look for a document update over the next day or two.

    Regards,

    -Kevin

Glad to help out if I can.

Also, on the PS and PL abbreviations, I see they are mentioned on page 9 under Clocking.

Speaking of clocking, Figure 1 on page 10 shows a 33 MHz clock on the PS side but there is no 100 MHz clock for the PL side.

    Regards,

    piller
