Turn off e-mail notifications

I keep getting "[Zedboard] content type subscription" emails that I would like to turn off.

Under "My Account" I have unchecked

"Receive content follow-up notification e-mails"
set "Receive comment follow-up notification e-mails" to "No notifications"

Unchecked "Receive email notification for incoming private messages"

And under the subscriptions tab/content type, I have unchecked everything (Forum, Accessories, etc.)

Yet I still receive these e-mails.

How can I stop them please.

My apologies for the frustration. I'll take a look to see what the issue is, and report back here.

I would also like to stop those emails but I can't find any related options in "My account". How am I supposed to do please?

I have tried everything I can think of except removing my email address from my account page (but will very soon do that.)

The "Direct unsubscribe link" given after the messages just gives me a Zedboard.org "Page not found".

The "Manage your subscriptions" link: http://www.zedboard.org/user/2400/subscriptions, just reports: "There are no available subscribed pages." and shows that I am logged in.

In case it is somehow related, I am using Firefox 10.0.2 on WinXP, and cookies are allowed.

same problem with me too!, i am using chrome on Win7, seems its not the browser/OS problem.
I am really getting fed up with tons of emails coming in my mailbox. Tried all options, even thought about canceling my Zedboard account and even for that i find no option.
ZedBoard admin please look in to the matter to solve it and please add options like Weekly newsletter or so that we folks are used to of on other social media webs.

I have the same issue as the other posters. Furthermore, I don't see anything under the subscriptions tab at all. This needs a little clean-up.

Your captchas look like they would be very easy to OCR. You didn't write your own message board software, did you?

The board is based on a widely used CMS, and is not custom made, no.

With regard to the captchas, there is a delicate balance between too much and too little. With the addition of the "Report Spam" link, and the reduced complexity captcha, I do not believe spam should be a large concern. As I am sure you know, if the spammers want to post somewhere they will - regardless of what is put in place.

I will do my best to address the 'unsubscribe' concerns today.
