Do I grab the PetaLinux BSP from here or Xilinx?

I'm confused and held up on a step in the UG1144 document from Xilinx for getting started with petalinux. In the section "Creating a Project" (more specifically sub section "Prerequisites") it says the following...

PetaLinux BSP is downloaded. You can download PetaLinux BSP from https://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.html/content/xilinx/en/downloadNav/embedded-design-tools.html.

I have two questions that need cleared up regarding the above.

1) If I download from the Xilinx link above then which file do I want to download if I'm working with the MicroZed z7010 board? There's so many files on that page with no description in saying "Hey if you're using the MicroZed board then download this one".

2) On the zedboard website http://zedboard.org/support/design/1519/10 under the section PetaLinux BSP's you can also download a "PetaLinux 2018.2 Compressed BSP z7010". Is this the same BSP as the one Xilinx provides above in question one? If so, which source do I go with in downloading the BSP from and why?

Cheers ~ S

    Hi scy86dev,

The PetaLinux BSP is usually board specific so you would use the BSP from our website for MicroZed7010 from (2) and only use the BSPs from (1) for the Xilinx created boards.

The BSP we provide is not exactly the same as the one Xilinx provides but we try to make them as similar as possible.

    Best Regards,

    -Kevin
