Using TRACE32 debug on Zedboard

Hello!

I am checking what hardware is needed to enable TRACE32 debug on Zedboard.

As per http://www.lauterbach.com/pro/pro_zynq-7000.php?chip=ZYNQ-7000 - two products are needed, LA-3500 powerdebug and LA-7843 JTAG debugger.

LA-7843 description mentions that it "supports 5-pin standard JTAG, cJTAG and Serial Wire Debug Port (0.4 V - 5 V) ". But the Zedboard spec indicates a 14-pin JTAG connector. Are there standard adapters between what LA-7843 expects and what Zedboard provides?

Hi Karthick,

We do offer this adapter boards which adapts from the ARM 20-pin connector found on most debuggers (this was tested using ARM DSTREAM debugger) to the Xilinx 14-pin JTAG connector found on ZedBoard. There is another 20-pin connector on ZedBoard but that is for access to the XADC functionality only (not JTAG).

This small adapter board will adapt the 14-pin PC4 connector on ZedBoard to the ARM-20 connector seen on this page:
