I'm about to buy the zedboad but I would like to know if the vivado licensing it brings is node-locked or floating.

Also, could you please tell me the size and weight of the board?

The Vivado license is node locked and device locked.

The size of the board is documented in the ZedBoard Users Guide found here: http://www.zedboard.org/documentation/1521

I don't have an official weight but on the scale here, with SD Card and standoffs it is 5.7 oz.
