Avnet shows stock of the cost optimized board but when contacted there are really none available. Really wanted the regular SOM anyways. Is there anywhere to go to find out what stock really is and when parts really will be available.

If you happen to find anything out it would be great if you can post it. My suggestion would be to forget about the AVNET boards and use something like the Myr Z-turn board. I've got a couple of Microzeds on order, but have given up finding out when I will actually receive them or if I will. I'm spoken to several people at AVNET and none of them have any clue what is actually in inventory, when anything will be in inventory, or when the issues with the new website will be fixed. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I have a few of the 7010 Microzed boards and they're great, but there's no way to use them on any project that matters with their sporadic availability and lack of communication.
Does anyone have a MicroZed 7010 SOM that they might want to sell me on EBAY?
The information you find online at the Avnet website currently can be inaccurate. I apologize for that. It has been extremely frustrating for all of us involved. At the beginning of April, Avnet switched to a new website and back-end system. This has resulted in multiple issues, such as the slow shipping and stock/lead-time inaccuracies that you see.
I was told by our production manager this morning that all of the following will show stock by July 8th:
AES-Z7MB-7Z010-SOM-I-G availability is 10 weeks from now (September 6).
AES-Z7PZ-7Z015-SOM-I-G availability is 10 weeks from now (September 6).
Note that the MicroZed Cost-optimized is a non-stocked part. Standard lead-time is 10 weeks.
Thanks for your patience. Sorry for the delays.
Bryan
30 June -- Corrected the availability for AES-Z7MB-7Z010-SOM-I-G, which was previously listed for stock in 10 days.
Is there a better contact number to speak with about these issues than the normal customer service line? They seem to know very little about the microzed family, and just this morning quoted 11-16 weeks of lead time for a 7010 microzed som. I really like the board but the supply chain is kind of a scary train wreck right now.
Due to our system switch-over, the times shown in our system currently are inaccurate. Anyone within Avnet that quotes what they see in the system is going to have bad data. Hopefully this is corrected within the next few weeks.
Your best option at this point is to work with your local Avnet office. They can query the Avnet Engineering Services production manager who does have accurate insight into our stock and availability.
Again, sorry for the trouble. When the kinks are worked out, the new system should greatly improve our visibility into stock, availability, and lead-times, but for now, there are struggles.

Bryan (Fletch) was able to help me out and I received my Microzed 7020 SOMs today. Thanks for following up.

I have a customer that ordered 7010 SOMs based on the July 8th stock date. He still has not received them. Did they already run out?
As of this morning, the MicroZed 7010 Eval Kit has 298 in stock.
The SOM version is not in stock. I will request updated availability information because I believe the 10-week lead-time is inaccurate.
