USB-JART not recognized

Former Member
Former Member over 12 years ago

I have installed tye Cypress driver and configured it in Tera Term, but still, I couldn't see the LED light on and the sdk is not able to detect jtag...I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how to solve this?

Under Device Manager, instead of Cypress USB to UART Adapter, I have USB to UART adapter only, but when I click on it I still see the driver being Cypress, so I'm not sure if it could be an issue or not...

Other than that I couldn't think of any...I plugged it into PROG port and it worked fine..

I followed every step in this guide

www.zedboard.org/sites/default/files/documentations/CY7C64225_Setup_Guide_1_3.pdf

and it still wouldn't work, I also tried to re-install the device and driver, no luck either, my system is Windows 7

I am pretty clueless now...any help would be appreciated!

Make sure your TeraTerm session is set to serial, 115200, and that the COM port matches the one assigned to the USB-UART driver shown in Windows Device Manager.

Have you tried booting the ZedBoard using the image provided on the SD Card.?
