    Hi Prakash,

The versions of the Linaro kernel, the root file system and the version of Vivado used to create the design are very closely coupled.  This particular document is for 2013.4 - are you using that version of Vivado and the software versions specified?

It seems like you are not able to make contact with the i2c controller.  Have you tried running the Standalone HDMI design on the ZedBoard to verify that you have everything set up correctly?  You can just use the pre-built files included in that design to test that everything works in standalone, validating the hw design before you move on to the more complex task of getting Ubuntu running.

    Hi Ron,

I have found the complete tutorial on zedboard.org including adau1761_golden.state. I have configured the linero on zedboard using Zedboard Ubuntu, Vivado version 13.4 tutorial. When I am trying to restore alsa state using adau1761_golden.state (found in the mentioned tutorial) following errors are occurring:

"alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #7 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #8 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #9 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #10 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #22 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1328: failed to obtain info for control #23 (No such file or directory)"

Also microphone doesn't work.Controls 7,8,9,10 correspond to input1, input2, input3, input4 respectively & controls 22, 23 correspond to 'AIFOUT Capture Mux' & input select respectively. Also Alsamixer is not showing these fields.
Kindly help me to figure this.

    Thanks
