Welcome : New user on Zedboard Forum

hello everyone,

My name is Mohamed amine, am from Tunisia.

I create this topic in order to group and welcome for all user xilinx board, so it's so easy, all users can come here and their impression about zedboard.

For me, since April 2014, i begin working on zedboard for engineer graduation project, and really it's a nice board, where i really understand ZNQ technology.

what should be done when we get errors like "access is denied"... " waiting for unfinished jobs"... in xps,sdk or edk. i am getting these errors when trying to generate a bitstream or a netlist in planahead14.4 and xilinx platform studio respectively. please help me how to get over those errors.

Hi,

I have enabled the KGDB kernel debugging through serial in kernel config and passing the below arguments in kernel parameter, but kernel is not waiting for GDB to debug.

Kernel arguments:
setenv bootargs console=ttyPS0,115200 kgdboc=ttyPS0,115200 kgdbwait root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=<NFS-server-ip>:/home/nfs-setup/rfs ip=::::zed:eth0:off rw earlyprintk

kernel configuaration:
CONFIG_HAVE_ARCH_KGDB=y
CONFIG_KGDB=y
CONFIG_KGDB_SERIAL_CONSOLE=y
# CONFIG_KGDB_TESTS is not set
# CONFIG_KGDB_KDB is not set

and

CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO=y
# CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_REDUCED is not set

Please let me know how to enable the kgdb in zedboards.
