OpenCV Vitis - Minized

bartokon
bartokon over 5 years ago

Hi!

I have problem linking OpenCV for minized acceleration in Xilinx Vitis.

Related post: https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Vitis-SDAccel-and-SDSoC/OpenCV-platform-in-Vitis/td-p/1075256

BSP: Petalinux - MiniZed packages not visible rootfs

Do you know how can I link those packages to Vitis? and If so could you provide tutorial or link to solution?

I have tried many solutions found in web but still no luck image

Thanks.

bartokon You need to follow https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2019_2/ug1144-petalinux-tools-reference-guide.pdf to install opencv into PetaLinux

    Hello Clem,

I have installed sysroots like this:

petalinux-package --sdk and then ./sdk.sh. I have chose cortexa9t2 as my sysroot for project in Vitis project and that doesn't work.

I have two more questions besides original one.

First, for what is "x86_64=petalinux-linux" folder for because I'm not using it in any way?

Second, will following page 115-Examples fix libraries problem by adding qt toolchain? or the effect will be the same as starting from "2.Building OpenCV applications."?

    Thanks for responding!

I have followed steps included in petalinux-tools-ref-guide but still it doesn't work. It must be some problem with linker...

The problem was with Vitis auto include libraries they would collide with those included in petalinux rootfs.

I have deleted "includes vivado hls libraries" in GCC Host Compiler options and now openCV works perfectly.5187.contentimage_206111.png
