Availability MicroZed 7020

Question

Hi,

We are using the MicroZed 7020 at the moment and are looking some boards to buy but all seem out of stock and not being produced.

The new rev H board was also announced (MicroZed Support Extended with Rev H ) but we don't find any information on the availability.

Is there any news about these boards?

I can confirm that MicroZed and PicoZed are both still actively being built, and I expect we will support these for 5+ more years. The issue is the industry lead-time, which stretches from 26 to 52 weeks for components. We have at least one, if not two or three, builds happening for each family member. It's just taking some time to get everything in place. Plus, with the delays, the backlog stacks up, which consumes all of the next build. I can assure you that this is a top priority for us, and something that we discuss internally nearly every day. I apologize for the lack of stock, but we are doing our best to get caught up.

My best advice is to place your order, at which point you should be given an estimated delivery. We appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, if you are in extreme desperate need for Zynq-7000, we do still have Mini-ITX boards in stock. These are more expensive 7045 and 7100 boards, but they are the same architecture as MicroZed and PicoZed.

I know that doesn't help if you've already designed your carrier board. Please work with your local Avnet office to get your orders placed early, and we are doing everything we can to get more built as quickly as possible.
