AES-FMC-MC4-AR0231AT-G ECO

Abb
Abb over 3 years ago

There is an eco procedure document in the purchased AES-FMC-MC4-AR0231AT-G package.

It describes the combination of different versions of AP22021 and AP22020,

which requires eco on the hardware board, but the package we purchased is the combination of AP22020 and AES-FMC-MC4-AR0231AT-G.

Do we need eco for this combination?

We try to make vck190_ base_ trd_ quad_ xvdpu_ Prebuilt, I found that the I2C communication with the sensor failed.

Is it due to the failure to implement this eco?

There is a known issue with a HIM mismatch between the GMSL serializer and deserializer.

Fortunately, it is possible to change the HIM mode via software, so that both serializer and deserializer are using the same compatible HIM mode.

This involves using a new kernel driver patch in the petalinux project:
    https://github.com/Avnet/meta-avnet/blob/2021.2/recipes-kernel/linux/files/uz7ev-evcc-quadcam-h/0016-media-i2c-update-mars-drivers-for-REV1-serializers.patch

We have verified that the patch works with both versions of the serializer module.

    Regards,

    Mario.
