What is the expected lifecycle of the UltraZed-EG/EV boards and carrier cards?

I am familiar with Avnet's documentation stating an intended 10-year lifecycle for these boards, but I am unsure when they were first designed. Additionally, a coworker of mine was advised by Avnet that they will no longer be producing any new UltraZed-EV boards. I have contacted Avnet support about this, and they told me that they were not equipped to answer technical questions and that I should post here.

Avnet is still manufacturing the UltraZed family and has prepared to keep these boards going longer than the initial 10yrs.  The life span is based on availability and demand.  If Avnet ever stops producing these boards, the source files will be made available for customers to continue building on their own.  The initial release date can be seen on the User Guide Document Control Version History page.
