Avnet Embedded boards with RS485 transceivers?

P_Schoenke

Hello!

I wasn’t sure who to reach out to, but one of my customers likes the price and form factor of the Raspberry Pi form factor SBCs like the MaaXBoard, etc. referenced at this link:

https://www.avnet.com/wps/portal/us/products/avnet-boards/

Do any of these have on-board RS485 transceivers?

Or, could Avnet entertain doing a semi-custom of one of these boards?

Any feedback or input is welcomed and appreciated!

Thank you!

Paul

    Hi Paul,

The MaaXBoards come with the PI compatible 40 pin connectors so it would be fairly simple to add an RS485 PI HAT to any of them.

Here is a sample from Amazon

    Best regards.
