SOM Product Lifetime

Question

I am working on a design review that utilizes the AES-ZU7EV-1-SOM-G. I am trying to get a long-term outlook for availability of this product. Can you tell me if there are any plans to stop production on this system in foreseeable future, and would not recommend it for a new design? If so, is there a planned replacement?

There is no plan to EOL the UltraZed EV on the horizon, and Avnet will provide the design files to customers so they can manufacture the board if this occurs.

 It is our intent that these boards would be manufacturable for 10 years from their introduction In the event of an EOL, a lifetime buy opportunity will be given If Avnet ever becomes unable or unwilling to support the requirements for these products, we will provide the fabrication files enabling the customer to build to suit their own needs.
