Low level programming with AES-MS-MT3620-SK-G Rev1

Hello all,

I have received an AES-MS-MT3620-SK-G dev. board and I am having a hard time trying to understand how to work with it.

I have the following questions:

1. Is there any way to program the board without internet ? I have seen it requests a microsoft login-account which I dont have.

2. Where is the documentation for the MCU ? My goal is to develop a bootloader therefore I would need access to all registers but I cannot find any proper documentation online. 

3. Is this board intended only for high-level applications ?

    You absolutely need an account. It's a secure system, you have to use the provided mechanism to access it, program it, and to control it using the provided API. Suggest you read up on this product. I don't understand what you mean by 'high level operations'; you have real-time control of hardware devices like other microcontrollers, but you have to use the API. And the answer is no, you cannot develop a bootloader for it to replace the existing one. It already contains a secure bootloader.

    He is confused because on Azure Sphere you have two types of apps: high-level and real-time. High-level are standard linux apps running in container on Cortex-A7 core and RealTime are standard MCU firmwares running on up to two Cortex-M4 cores.

    High-level can communicate with internet and do some other stuff using very limited API provided by Azure Sphere OS. On realtime you can directly use peripherals using RTOS or bare metal app, but AHB and APB buses are limited by firewall which is controled by Azure Sphere OS and is configured using manifests.
