We are considering the AES-MC-SBC-IMX8M-G (MaaXBoard) for prototyping a Qt based UI.
We may decide to develop the product around the MaaXBoard module but would like to know the option is open to design our own board around an NXP i.MX8 chip if we run into limitations with the MaaXBoard. Is the i.MX8 chip used in the MaaXBoard a standard chip available from NXP? If yes, what is the part number?
