communication on microzed

Hi,
I planned to use microzed as a part of my whole system. I need to use CAN and I2C communication together.
when I check at the documents, both CAN and I2C are provided by Pmod header, which only has 8 ports. Can I use both of communication port at the same time with only 8 ports?

Yes, you should be able to use a CAN port and an I2C port at the same time over the MicroZed Pmod header.

Take a look at Table 2-4 (MIO-at-a Glance Table) in the Zynq-7000 Technical Reference Manual (UG585) for the MIO pin options for each CAN and I2C port. I2C module 0 can be assigned to MIO pins 10 and 11 or pins 14 and 15. CAN controller 0 can be assigned to MIO pins 10 and 11 or 14 and 15 as well, so you could select one set of pins for I2C 0 and the other for CAN 0. In addition I2C module 1 is available on MIO pins 12 and 13, as is CAN controller 1. If you need to use an external CAN clock it can be assigned to any available MIO pin.

If you needed to support two I2C modules and two CAN controllers at the same time you would need to use one of the MicroHeaders to connect to the fourth device.
