Hi,
I want to design a board adapter for the MicroZed board in order to make a prototipe of a future design.
I just want to make a custo FMC attached to the JX1 and JX2 connector of the MicroZed board.
I have been reviewing the microZed schematic and the FMC schematics and I am not able to find out why once the FMC board is attached the microZed must be programmed using the FMC JTAG connector (the microZed connector is not detected by Vivado). Is it related with the PWR_EN given by the FMC board?
Can be the PWR_EN pin of the JX1 connector left floating or shall be tied high? In the design the FMC board will be powered externally and no voltaje supply will be shared with the MicroZed board.
Is there any consideration to be taken into account for this design?
