SPI

Hello,

I have one program for SPI. It uses Xspips driver for SCLK and transfers bits over MOSI pin.

By default, My SCLK is low when inactive. Also, it is on trailing edge for MOSI. Is there a way that I can change it so SCLK will be High when Inactive and rising edge?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello Vatsalnaik,

You will need to edit the CPOL and CPHA variables to obtain the polarity and phase you are looking for. Refer to this link :

    Hello Josh,

Thanks, Actually I enabled pull-up in Vivado for that pin and solved the problem.

Is there any way that I can activate two slaves at the same time? I am using

    XSpiPs_SetSlaveSelect(&SpiInstance, 0x00); This will select SS[0].

    Hi Vatsalnaik,

I suppose it is possible to activate two slaves at the same time, however I would not advise doing so. If both slaves try to talk to the same MISO line your result will be a garbled unreadable output. That is unless you plan on daisy chaining them together.

Please read this document about Multiple slaves. https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/serial-peripheral-interface-spi/slave-select-ss
