Microzed camera interagtion

Hello,

I will be purchasing my first microZed board to use it for hardware acceleration for portable computation of computer vision algorithms. I do have a USB plug-and-play type camera that uses USB 2.0 connection for both sending video data and power. If I provide the MicroZed with 5V power through its barrel jack with a battery, will I be able to communicate with and power up my camera from the USB 2.0 connection of the MicroZed? Have anybody had similar experience with using a camera?

    Wira,
    In the Embedded Vision Summit demo video, the system on the left side consists of a ZedBoard, and a FMC-IMAGEON with VITA camera.
    You can get more information on this FMC module at the following product page:

    We have a on-line training called "Smarter Vision Design Seminar", available on ZedBoard.org.
    To access the training, select Support, then Training & Videos.
    The on-line training also includes some labs which includes a design for "ZedBoard + FMC-IMAGEON + VITA camera".
