MicroZED profiling

Hi,

I'm trying to profile my ARM application, and I think almost everything is fine (number of call functions),
except number of samples and corresponding time, that are both equal to zero. Do I have to modify my code,
or Vivado's design, in order to achieve time measurements?

I followed both UG1165 and Adam Taylor's wonderful guide.

My board is microZED 7z010, and my current Vivado version is 2015.2.

Hi,

I finally obtained some samples and measurement times, but with no sense for me. For instance, in the attached image it can be seen how scu_timer_init is sampled several times (it means system can't initialize this timer for an specific sample time), but when I set up sample times above 10.000 Hz, it begins giving me information only for Xilinx functions called in the code. I wrote a dummy heavy function, and 0 ns was reported as execution time (not possible).

I assume you are using the latest version (June 2015) of the UG1165 tutorial.

We have not done any work with profiling in the Vivado 2015.2 version of the SDK. If any other forum members have worked with the 2015.2 SDK profiler please let us know how it worked for you.

Other wise, as this is pretty specific to Xilinx tools, you might have better luck posting your question on the Xilinx Community forums.

Effectively, I followed the latest version of UG1165, and it didn't work. As recommended, I'll post this issue on the Xilinx forums.
