microZed_wilink8.patch

Dear sir,

              I am trying to integrate the WiLink8 module with the ZedBoard and i am following the scripts available at http://microzed.org/product/wilink-8-adaptor website. I have found one following script:-

patch -p1 < microZed_wilink8.patc

My question:-

1- For what purpose this patch is?

2- Do i need this patch for mine ZedBoard?

3- If yes can i directly patch this without any change in microZed_wilink8.patc.
