A build of MicroZed Rev G boards was mistakenly labeled on the bag as Rev 1. The board inside the bag is a Rev G. This was a mistake in the bag labeling only.

I can remember a talk from a Ford QA person when my company started supplying parts to them.
He explained that as far as Ford (trying to run just-in-time procurement) were concerned there was no such thing as a mistake on a label - it was either the right part made and labelled right - or it was not.
We used to scan our parts and the boxes they went into. I wrote some software that printed the multiple barcode labels for the boxes (which had shipping info as well as part info) - we tested the labels as well as the parts.
