Do the AD9361 boards (such as the AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ), fit on the Zynq Mini-ITX FMC connector (can a LPC FMC connector plug into the HPC connector on the ITX board)?
If so, has anyone done this, and do you have a picture of the orientation?
Thanks

Hi,
You can plug an LPC FMC into an HPC FMC connector, the HPC just has additional signals.
The AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ will fit on the Mini-ITX but the antennas may block the Zynq fansink on the Mini-ITX board. You may want to use SMA cables to connect to remote antennas. Here is a link to a picture of a Mini-ITX with an FMCCOMMS2 board installed:

Perfect, Thanks!
Hi jclemmer,
I have used the FMCCOMMS2 board installed on my Zynq Mini-ITX board with the use of an FMC Entender board which extends the height at which the FMC board is mounted relative to the mainboard:
http://www.em.avnet.com/en-us/design/drc/Pages/Avnet-FMC-Extender.aspx
Using this extender board, the antenna ports are no longer blocked by the fan/heatsink assembly.
Regards,
-Kevin
Is this included in the base kit and the system kit, or what does it mean by "FMC Adapter" in the list of included items?
Thanks,
Jeff
Hi,
I use similar configuration, however, to limit the mechanical stress to the transceiver board I used SMA-SMA pigtails and moved the antennas to the rear panel of the box, see https://goo.gl/photos/mJviSZzWzKHrR3Jh9
The FMCOMMS2/3 works well with mitx45, however according to AD support it should work with mitx100 as well, see https://ez.analog.com/message/246745#246745
