booting miniITX usb uart interface

Hi ,

I would like to know if it is possible to load the linux OS to miniITX board through the USB_UART interface when it is powered ON?. Do let me know the procedure if anything exists.

The only way to load linux to the PS of minITX board is by writing the BOOT.BIN into the sdcard ?.

We do have a reference design that shows how to use the USB 2.0 port as a secondary boot device on our website http://zedboard.org/support/design/2056/17. This reference design uses the PS USB 2.0 port not the USB-UART port.

Hi , Thanks for the reply. I was looking for a software in linux to communicate with the miniITX. I have found a solution using GTKTERM .
